Midwest Unit

We are almost finished with our Midwest Unit.  We have learned about what challenges settlers of the Midwest had when they came to the Midwest.  We learned about the boys and girls responsibilities during the time period.  We learned about the land and the history of transportation in the Midwest.  We are also reviewing the states and capitals and the state locations. Each student has also chosen a state and researching their specific state more in-depth.  Next week we will be having our assessment.  We will then begin our Unit on Illinois.
