IXL Math


We have completed Chapters 1 and 2 in our Math in Focus program.  We will not be having an assessment on chapter 2 until later in the school year.  The concept is mental math and it is a concept that is embedded in the next few units of the math program so we will take the assessment at the end of these units.  

We will be beginning Chapter 3 on Thursday in class.  I have given the students a list of correlated activities in IXL for these two units.  We will begin another cluster of activities in class for Chapter 3.  Here is a list of the activities your child has been working on in class.  You are welcome to work on any unfinished activities at home.  Your child has a login in his/her assignment notebook that he/she can use to log in at home.  This is optional but a great way to provide additional practice at home.
